Juanakee R. Adams, O.D.
Juanakee Adams was born in Detroit, Michigan. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dillard University and her Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University in 1980. She was subsequently licensed by the Alabama Board of Optometry and returned home to practice her chosen profession.
As a black female Dr. Adams has served as a role model to many young Americans, particularly men and women of color. Among her many accomplishments, Dr. Adams has memberships in various professional, civic and social organizations such as: The National Optometric Association, The American Optometric Association, Alabama Optometric Association, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and a Fairfield City Council Member. Dr. Juanakee Adams is the CEO of Adams Eye Care and has been in practice since 1981. |
She has served three terms as a member of the Fairfield City Council, she is a licensed and ordained minister and a member of More Than Conquerors Faith Church. Dr. Adams truly believes that...."unto much is given, much is required."
Ms. Lisa Butler bishop
Mrs. Lisa Butler Bishop has been a skilled Optician in the Birmingham area since 1979. She began her training in the Optical field in Charlotte, NC in 1974. Mrs. Butler Bishop feels that the patient relationship is paramount and welcomes you to their practice. Mrs. Butler Bishop also graduated from the UAB School of Optometry Optometric Technician program.
